After a rough start to the year, summer brought us some happy news. Our battle is far from over, but after countless hours behind the scenes, we’re happy to bring you a win. Here’s the highlight reel in case you missed it.
We’re popping champagne following an executive order aimed at addressing discriminatory debanking—i.e., which is where banks deny financial services due to political, social, or religious beliefs, even when the business activities are lawful. Regulators classify it as “reputational risk,” which is commonly used as a justification for deplatforming. Under this order, deplatforming must be justified by “individualized, objective, risk-based standards” instead of reputational risk, offering some protection for marginalized users, including the crypto and adult industries.
While there’s still a ton of work to be done to ensure that regulators actually follow through with the order, we can proudly say that our activism has been paying off!
The potential of blockchain truly knows no bounds, and now there’s a trending creator economy that’s prime for the picking. To help you join the fun, we’ve created a walkthrough guide for Zora, a new blockchain social network that tokenizes profiles and automatically mints posts as assets that can be sold.
Our dear friend and longstanding team member Steven Baker has been with us through our many ups and downs, and he knows what we’re up against. He just dropped a banger of an article on how crypto is not only an ally to adult content creators and consumers, it can also serve as a gamer’s first line of defense against censorship. While the adult industry has been a punching bag for years, the financial and creative discrimination they face has expanded to sexual content in video games. As it stands, this censorship movement shows no sign of slowing or going away on its own, so everyone needs to push back now, before it gets much worse.
If you don’t already know Rick R. Ledesma, he’s been our photographer and videographer for over half a decade. Rick is a first-generation Mexican-American photographer from Oxnard, California. His exhibit Living In a Memory, is a series celebrating the spirit of Vegas through the identities and narratives of first-generation immigrants and second-generation Americans, is currently being shown at the East Las Vegas Library and will run until October 21st. Don’t miss it!
We’re so touched by and grateful for the support our community has extended during the past few difficult months. To show our gratitude, we’re pleased to report that you can look forward to more Zines, pools, educational content, microgrant programs, and more. Now that summer's almost over, it’s time to brush up on some course material. In case you missed it, Metamask just made creating and accessing a new wallet easier than ever. To all you crypto-nubies, make sure to catch the announcement.
In sadder news, the whole age-verification nonsense has expanded to XBox users (via Microsoft) and YouTubers. We know how flawed and damaging these policies can be, so we’re tracking their developments and pushing even harder with our activism and will be bringing you tools to fight back.
Sometimes bigger really is better—just ask BadKittyyy. This tatted baddie packs a whole lot of woman in her generous curves. One look and it’s easy to understand why the “most awarded BBW of all time” is our August SpankMate of the month. So if you dare to pssst, pssst this p*ssy, make sure you’re equipped to handle it.
In the meantime, enjoy her looking hot as ever in a pink bikini-clad photoshoot.
